Assembling the kayak paddle - The shaft must be cut to the required length by cutting equal lengths from both ends of shafts, the sticker or the adjustable system must be in the center of the paddle. Both ends of the shaft must lightly abraded to around 8.5 cm from the end, ideally you should match the parts until the abraded end of the shafts fits into the neck of the blade The shaft end should then be heated (not over 150°C) and the adhesive provided spread evenly on the abraded surface. At the same time heat the blade neck (not over 80°C) and push into position of the shaft. Please be aware that when you attached the second blade you have a very limited time to set the pitch - from 15 to 22 seconds.

Assembling the canoe paddle
- A good epoxy adhesive (Araldite) must be used. Spread the adhesive evenly on the bottom of the shaft (the Bracsa-Sport® logo sticker is on the top of the shaft) and push the shaft into the blade neck rotating it slightly to spread the adhesive. Cut the top of the shaft to the required length and using the epoxy adhesive bond it to the handle - be sure to check the blade and handle are correctly aligned.
